Fr. Mark Highlighted as Catholic School Ambassador

The role of the pastor in the life and formation of young disciples in our Catholic schools is indispensable as the “joy of the gospel” calls even the youngest heart into a relationship with the Risen Christ. Our Catholic Schools first and foremost exist to proclaim the gospel. Fr. Mark was featured in a blog article by the Healey Education Foundation which spotlights the strong bond being forged between our parish and school for the mission of the Church as a united community of faith.Fr. Mark is a proud “ambassador” for our Catholic schools, especially Saint John School here in Westminster, Maryland. The Healey blog article can be found HERE.

VBS Celebrates that We are Wonderfully Made By God

Our children discovered that they are lovingly crafted by God. On this interactive adventure, curious kids became hands-on inventors and experienced God – the ultimate maker – in new and wildly creative ways. Our LARGEST VBS yet: 350 children, young people and adults journeyed in faith together as the fun factory made disciples and called each participant to be a joyful proclaimer of the gospel! Rotating through 5 stations, taking part in fun interactive exercises, learning new songs and celebrating their faith brought the Bible and the teachings of Jesus to life. Our next Vacation Bible School “Shipwrecked” will take place June 18-22, 2018.
