DESCRIPTION:All women are invited to the Well-Read Woman\, a once a month reading group which includes great books\, spiritual classics\, poetry\, and selected essays from the Catholic and Western tradition.  Well-Read Woman is an opportunity for women to reclaim time to read the best literature as well as to glean spiritual insights from great works of art.  Our introductory meeting will be on September 11 at 7 PM in the St. Therese Room. The idea behind an XLT (exalt) is to provide several different types of prayer to lead the faithful in prayer and draw them together as a community. DESCRIPTION:XLT is a once-a-month gathering for ALL of our St. John parishioners.  Every XLT has powerful and inspiring talks\, a prayerful Eucharistic Adoration accompanied by music\, silence\, meditation and scripture readings. The idea behind an XLT (exalt) is to provide several different types of prayer to lead the faithful in prayer and draw them together as a community.
