Our mission is to prayerfully lead people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, and, to do so in such a way that true conversion and a genuine transformation of hearts, beliefs and behaviors occurs. We want to form intentional disciples.
We accomplish this mission by:
1. Offering engaging Catholic faith formation for children and families, staffed by caring and trained volunteers.
2. Preparing children and adults to become missionary disciples.
3. Creating opportunities for enriching faith formation for people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of understanding.

SUNDAY SESSION- 9:00am-10:15am Grades Available for Weekly Meetings: PreK, K, 1st-5th grade + RCIA + Middle School Sessions + Confirmation
Middle School Semester Options for 6th-8th Grade (choose only 1 semester). This will meet at the same time as the younger students, but for intensive Out-of-the-Box faith formation! What does that mean? We are breaking out of book work, lectures and sitting in classrooms. These Sunday sessions will be whole group based, with SOUND CATHOLIC TEACHING from the catechism, activities, Catholic experiences like Adoration, confession and Mass that will focus on leading kids into a relationship with Christ, not just pushing them through the conveyor belt of “CCD.” The old way of faith formation is on its way out– its time to do something new!

We call these classes Home Study (They are not homeschool—but it’s confusing!) These are our religious education classes that meet once a month and do the work at home.
So how does this monthly thing work?
With Home Study, parents work with their children at home and help them to complete the chapters every month. Then, during the one monthly class, the students will have their book reviewed and the teacher will lead a review of the chapters the students should have completed at home. Class sizes are kept to a minimum. Home Study wil be limited this year because we have added the Middle School semesters. There is a possibility that everyone seeking Home Study will NOT be accommodated so please register as soon as registration is open. If your child does not get into Home Study, he or she must attend a regular Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday session! We have added a later Sunday session!
Home Study is not available for Confirmation classes!

The parish nursery is available during the 8:45 am and the 10:30 am Masses for children under 6 years old. The nursery is located in the St. Mark room of the school. The room is right across from the religious education office. Parishioners should enter the school through the entrance that is directly across from the portico. When religious education is in session, parents will have to sign in and then make their way to the nursery. Children are watched by a trained professional, given a beeper and age-appropriate activities and toys are available. Parents of young children are asked to bring a diaper bag.
Takes place at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on the first Sunday of the month. Students who are in 4th grade or older can participate as lectors. All children are invited into the sanctuary for the homily. This group also puts on the 4:30 pm Christmas Pageant at the Christmas Eve mass in the Church every year.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
All children, ages 4-8 years old, are invited to participate in this monthly offering at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The celebrant invites the children to briefly move to a designated location for a special Liturgy of the Word, adapted for them, with a homily and Prayer of the Faithful. Afterward, as the Offertory gifts are brought to the altar, the children rejoin their families for the remainder of the Liturgy.
