St. John is a Roman Catholic Church located in Westminster, Maryland.  Centrally located in Carroll County, we are a faith community firmly rooted in the traditions of the Catholic Church and dedicated to meeting and accompanying everyone on their faith journey.

Our world has drastically changed over the past year, but we are here for you!  St. John Masses are in person and live streamed to our Facebook page; our 24-hour Adoration Chapel is open; in-person ministries and events are returning to our campus; and we are maintaining a strong social media presence.  We look forward to seeing you – both in person and virtually!

Fr. Mark is happy to announce that our parish family welcomes Mr. Michael Gaffney as our NEW Choir Director. He graduated in 1977 from Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University Maryland) with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Applied Music (Organ Performance) and Political Science and, upon graduation, was awarded Loyola’s Music Medal. In 1979 he was awarded a Certificate in Choral Conducting from the Royal School of Church Music in England and, in 1980, earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland.He continues to serve as Director of Music at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Baltimore and as the Choirmaster, Instructor of Music and Chairman of the Fine Arts Department at Archbishop Curley High School.Alongside our Director of Music, Mrs. Regina McCurdy, and our distinguished vocalists and musicians of our choir we will make a joyful song unto the Lord. ...
