ST. JOHN FOOD DRIVE

St. John Catholic Church & School, in collaboration with our St. Vincent de Paul Society and Knights of Columbus, is sponsoring a food drive and distribution beginning April 21.

If you are in need of assistance, food pick up times are:

Wednesdays: 4-7 p.m.

The pickup location will be at St. John Catholic Church’s Portico at 43 Monroe St., Westminster, MD 21157.  All people must stay in their cars.  There will be people helping to direct you!

If you are interested in donating food items or grocery gift cards, you can drop off donations anytime in our bins outside the Portico, or there will be contactless drop-off times:

Tuesdays: 12 noon-3 p.m.
Thursdays: 4-7 p.m.

We want to congratulate our associate pastor, Fr. Andrew DeFusco, who has been named administrator of St. Andrew by the Bay Parish in Annapolis. His new assignment will begin July 1.

Due to COVID regulations, we will not be able to host a proper send-off at this time. As the restrictions lift, we will be ready to welcome Fr. Andrew back for a farewell Mass and celebration - Gaelic and Garlic style!

We will miss Fr. Andrew greatly here at St. John, but we wish him well as he begins this new endeavor!
