Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi

Bring your furry, feathery, or scaly friends to our parking lot for our annual Blessing of the Animals in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi’s feast day! As the patron saint of animals and the environment, St. Francis is known for his deep love and respect for all living creatures created by God. Each year, our parish’s dogs, cats, lizards, and even chickens line up outside to receive a special blessing and offer a prayer of thanks for all the joy pets bring to our lives.
