Fr. Mark called our parish family to renewal during his Ash Wednesday homily. Ashes are a byproduct of purification and we are called to experience a "burning in our soul" as we journey on the path of continuous conversion. Instead settling, its time to become the "best version of ourselves"...NOW! To watch the entire Ash Wednesday liturgy, please click HERE.
Archbishop William Lori, Archbishop of Baltimore, released his 2nd pastoral letter, in which, he reflects on the enduring principals of Dr. Martin Luther King. The archbishop sits down with Beverley Burke to discuss his pastoral letter in the video. His pastoral letter along with numerous resources can be found here: https://www.archbalt.org/kingpastoral.
Over 200 people attended our annual Confirmation Retreat at Summit Lake Camp on January 26th-28th. We were blessed to have with us Fr. Patrick Mary, M.F.V.A., and over 12 additional priests and seminarians! Fr. Mark made his way out to the mountains of Emmitsburg, as well as Fr. Robert from St. Andrew's in Waynesboro, PA. For over 15 years, the little parish has joined us for our retreat after their Confirmation Coordinator, Judy Clement, fervently sought a good retreat for her students. Here is a look into the amazing experience students had this weekend!
