Welcome to St. John Young Adult Ministry! We are a group of young adults (18+ and out of high school) seeking to grow in holiness and fellowship together. We gather on a regular basis for fun, hangouts and prayer.

Join Fr. Shiadrik and our youth minister Sarah on Monday nights in the Portico for our first ever Bible study for our college student/ college age parishioners and friends! Enter into scripture and enjoy fellowship with other college students. No need to prepare anything ahead of time! (Upcoming: March 16th, April 6th, April 20th, May 4th, and May 18th)
Join us on March 23rd to pray the “Way of the Cross”, meditations written by Br. Francisco Whittaker O.S.B. and our own youth minister, Sarah, in the beautiful candlelit setting of the Church. We will meet in the Church that evening at 8:00pm- bring a friend!
Past Events
Join us on February 9th in the Portico at 7:00pm for a night of cookie baking and decorating! Bring a plate of your favorite cookies to share 🙂
Join us on Saturday July 19th for Mass at the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes followed by a hike to “Indian Lookout”! We will meet at the Glass chapel in the Grotto for noon Mass. Pack your own lunch to eat on the hike. Email sburger@sjwest.org with any questions!
Join us on January 14th in the parish offices at 7pm for our Narnia movie night, featuring a hot chocolate bar and Turkish delight!
Men: Smoke cigars and join in fellowship with other men! Feel free to bring your own cigars and brandy.
Women: Join in rosary making with other women while enjoying rosé and mocktails!
Enjoy a night of friends and fun as we play games and listen to a talk on “Real Relationships and Strong Community”. We will even have an ice cream bar! Join us on Wednesday, July 30 at 7pm behind the parish center.
In honor of the USCCB’s “Eucharistic Revival”, St. John is proud to present our “Eucharistic Revival Night”! This event will take place on Sunday, August 10th at 8pm and will include a talk, a testimony, praise & worship, adoration, and personal benediction. You won’t want to miss out- He is waiting for you.
Join us on Fridays at 7pm as we read and discuss C.S. Lewis’s “The Great Divorce”. Don’t worry if you miss a meeting, it’s super easy to catch up! You can order the book or listen for free on Spotify or Youtube.
Join us at the Seton Shrine for “Back from the Dead”, a cemetery walk featuring actor portrayals of saints ready to share their stories! In order to join our group (and receive a free ticket on us!) you MUST register by following this link.
Join us in the Parish offices after the 11am Mass for Sunday brunch and a discussion on a section of St. Pope John II’s Theology of the Body! No need to read anything ahead of time or have any prior knowledge of the text.
