Grades K-5

Exciting News for Fall 2022

K-5 Children’s Ministry is now called “ODYSSEY.” An Odyssey is an epic journey. We are all on an Odyssey and this Odyssey is to encounter God and answer some of the biggest questions that face us in life.  With our name change also comes a change in program style. Odyssey is a hands on interactive bible story. Gone are the days of text books and worksheets. Your children will get to experience and learn the exciting stories of the Bible and how they relate to their lives. Plus, they will get a snack!

Odyssey will be meeting Wednesdays in the Portico from 6 – 7 pm starting October 12th!

Click here for the schedule of all the meeting dates.

ODYSSEY (K-5) registration is now open! Click here to register. Haga clic aquí para registrarse en Español. You can also register your 6-8th grade students for SUMMIT with this link.

Can’t make all the Bible study lessons? That’s okay!

Our approach with this Bible study is much like the approach with an adult Bible study–come when you can! Attendance does not affect a child’s eligibility for sacramental preparation.

Interested in a home study option?

Register for Odyssey and send us a note! This will allow us to order you materials and check in with you. Home study for the God’s Plan in Scripture Bible study will not require monthly meetings or work to be turned in. Students who plan on doing the majority of their work independently at home will have the option of attending any in-person lessons, if desired.

Have a student in need of 1st Reconciliation and Holy Communion?

Registration is live for St. John School students at the moment. Class sign-ups for students who do not attend SJS will have registration available shortly–we are still working on nailing down the meeting times.

While you wait, check out the tentative class dates.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Register for 1st Reconciliation & Eucharist here!
